At Thompson Gray, supporting the mission extends beyond the workplace. It includes strengthening the communities where our employees live and work. Since launching Thompson Gray Together (TG Together) in 2021, we have remained committed to giving back through volunteerism, charitable contributions, and employee-led initiatives that reflect our values as a company and as individual employee-owners.

In 2025, TG Together continued this commitment with a year of meaningful engagement, community partnerships, and employee-driven impact. The efforts below highlight how our team invested time, resources, and energy into causes that make a difference.

Community Support Across the Regions 

Throughout the year, Thompson Gray sponsored and participated in a range of community events that support education, athletics, health, and military families. These events connect our employees to the community and allow us to contribute to programs that enrich the lives of those we serve.

Together, these sponsorships represent an annual contribution of approximately $25,000 toward community impact.

​​In addition to sponsored events, members of Thompson Gray’s NoVA team also participated in Wreaths Across America, honoring those who served and remembering their sacrifice. Through this annual effort, employees volunteered in their local communities to help ensure that no hero is forgotten.

Supporting Kids to Love

In addition to these events, Thompson Gray continued its long-standing relationship with Kids to Love, an organization dedicated to supporting foster children across Alabama.

This year, TG employees participated in the annual Back-to-School “More Than a Backpack” Program, helping ensure students entered the school year with the supplies they needed to succeed. Supporting Kids to Love is one way TG continues to invest in children, families, and education across our community.

Employee-Driven Giving: Quarterly Donation Program

One of the most meaningful components of TG Together is our Quarterly Donation Program. This initiative empowers employees to nominate charitable organizations they believe in, allowing individuals across Thompson Gray to directly influence where the company directs its giving.

How It Works

Each quarter:

  1. Employees nominate charitable organizations.
  2. Nominations are reviewed for alignment with TG’s mission and values, as well as 501(c)(3) status.
  3. TG leadership selects recipients.
  4. Chosen organizations receive a corporate donation on behalf of Thompson Gray.

This program reinforces our culture of service, builds connection across locations, and ensures our giving reflects what matters most to our employee-owners.

These organizations represent causes across healthcare, veteran support, leadership, child advocacy, adaptive athletics, public broadcasting, and community services.

Annual Charitable Donations Program

In addition to quarterly giving, Thompson Gray offers an Annual Charitable Donations Program that allows every employee to directly support a cause meaningful to them.

Each employee may request that Thompson Gray make a once-a-year donation of $350 to a charitable organization, school program, or youth sports organization of their choice. Donation requests are submitted to the Director of Business Operations and reviewed by leadership before being approved and processed through Accounting. Donations are made directly to the organization, and employees are notified once their donation has been completed.

This program reinforces Thompson Gray’s belief in employee-driven impact and ensures our giving reflects the diverse passions and priorities of our team.

TG Together is more than a philanthropic initiative. It is a reflection of who we are as a company. As a 100 percent employee-owned organization, we believe strongly in shared responsibility—both to our customers and to our communities.

Our employees bring this mindset into everything they do, whether delivering exceptional service across defense operations or volunteering time and resources to support local organizations.
