Thompson Gray has announced that it will hold its inaugural Johnny Henderson Memorial Golf Tournament on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Colonial Golf Course in Meridianville, AL.

Johnny Henderson was a long-time employee and served as a Program Manager at Thompson Gray before he unexpectedly passed away in 2021. This tournament was established to honor his legacy and the continued impact he has on the company. All proceeds raised from this event will go towards college funds for Johnny’s children, Carter and Cason Henderson.

“Johnny was an integral part of our team and the Thompson Gray family,” says Thompson Gray Senior Vice President Lyndsey Shelton. “He was a well-respected employee that was known for his character, integrity, and kindness. His family is our family, and with this event, we can continue to remember his impact while providing financial resources for his children’s future education.”

Tickets are $50 per person including a golf cart and $18 if not playing. Mulligans are available for $5 each or three for $10. Prizes will be awarded for the longest drive, closest to pin, hole-in-one, and to the top three winning teams. Corporate sponsorships are also available for organizations interested in participating.
