Operations Analyst
I support the USAFMCOM G3 in the development, synchronization, and coordination of financial management actions and initiatives across the Army.
I joined the Army six days out of high school looking for adventure and excitement. It’s safe to say I found plenty of both over the course of 20 years in the Army. I spent my first ten years as an Infantryman, and then transitioned to a Financial Management Officer. The Army sent me to quite a few places around the world, providing for some interesting experiences. I was even at Ranger School while Steve Irwin was there filming his “Wildlife in Combat” episode of the Crocodile Hunter.
I retired from the Army and joined the Thompson Gray team in 2016 as the Financial Management School’s (FMS) Strategic Integrator. My focus as the Strategic Integrator was on Army Financial Management Optimization (AFMO), and the FMS Campaign Plan. Now as a member of the USAFMCOM support team, I am gaining exposure to the strategic side of Army Financial Management operations.
